Addressing women's empowerment needs and strengthening their leadership role in family farming (20th July 2022)

The World Rural Forum (WRF) held a Global Exchange on women's training needs and priorities to strengthen their leadership role in family farming. The WRF organised this global exchange meeting which culminates a participatory process to identify women's training needs and priorities with a view to developing specific capacity building programmes for women family farmers in the framework of the UNDFF 2019-2028. This activity is part of the ongoing collaboration between the WRF and FAO to advance Pillar 3 of the UN Decade of Family Farming (UNDDAF) 2019-2028.
